Description: Provide support and assistance to other program staff in the delivery of programs, recreation and leisure and/or vocational activities both in-house and in the community for individuals with a high level of physical care. Provide supervision in conjunction with and/or the absence of other staff, assist in obtaining and preparing program materials, program assessments, supplies and equipment. Assist with required documentation, report any suspected act of abuse or neglect, etc., provide input when requested, assist consumers with meals, toileting and personal hygiene needs, transportation, activities/events, community integration activities; may administer medications/treatments. Participate in meetings, workshops, conferences, and in-service training for self-development. Will include participation in regular janitorial/light maintenance duties for the facility.
Hours: Substitute for regularly scheduled staff. Monday through Friday, Day Shift.

Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or GED with an interest in working with persons with developmental disabilities and/or the elderly. Experience preferred, but willing to train. Assist with the supervision of individuals in a facility-based employment setting. Monitor and ensure employer satisfaction and quality control.
