Day Training and Habilitation
The Day Training and Habilitation programs serve persons 18 years of age or older with developmental disabilities or a related condition which results in functioning or adaptive behavior similar to that of a person with developmental disabilities.

No person shall be determined ineligible for the services on the basis of race, creed, sex, income, secondary disability, and type of residential services, severity of disability, personal care assistance, behavior disorders or past failure to make progress. A designated administrative person from the DT&H program and a case manager will arrange for the referral to visit the program.
Community Integration Services
- Assistance and training with mobility
- Assistance and training in communication and physical care.
- Variety of opportunities to interact with community persons.
- Training to develop personal interests, social and other age appropriate skill areas.
Vocational Programs
The DT&H programs provide employment and employment related services and community integration services, which are identified in an Individual Service Plan for each consumer. These services include:
- Individualized Assessment
- Individualized job development and placement.
- On-the-job training and work and work related skills
- Ongoing supervision and monitoring of job performance
- Ongoing job retention support services when necessary
- Training in personal skills
- Transportation to and from service sites and residents homes
- Adaptive equipment as necessary
Non-Vocational Programs
The non-vocational programs at Fergus Falls Willows and Parkers Prairie provide services which are designed to maintain and improve abilities. The program provides a safe, secure and therapeutic environment, which enables the consumers to receive a level of physical and medical care beyond what is provided in the vocational setting. Sensory integration, exercise and leisure activities are also incorporated.
